“There's something honest about Rio in the off-season. It doesn't need to perform, it doesn't need to entertain. The coastline is quieter now, almost reflective. It feels like the city is more itself when no one's asking anything from it. There's beauty in the quiet, in the things that don't need attention to exist. It's not about doing much, just being present. Sometimes, that's enough. And maybe that's what I like the most about this time of year, there's no pressure to chase anything. Just walking, watching, existing; letting the city show up as it is, and doing the same myself.”
